About My Petite Full Size Dog Bows Saffron Sherhy Revolution for Choden ~ "Lusienna" 'Petite' full size show dog bow sizing was created to offer a dog bow sized for the petite shih tzu with a smaller head. This sizing looks perfect on a 9lb Shih Tzu, or a larger Shih Tzu puppy which is not yet ready for a full size show dog bow. All show dog bows should be in balance with the dog's head size, and not look like a 'hat' sitting on top of the head. If the show dog bow lies flat against the head, it is also too big and you should try a smaller styled show bow. Petite show dog bows are crafted from high quality satin ribbons and most of my bows have additional lining to make the bow stronger and resistant to crushing.
